What to do in Boipeba: 3–4 day itinerary

The best plan starts with the tide table. Then comes the rest: beach, village, table, quiet. This itinerary links to each place’s page — without expanding every tour here.

Suggested itinerary — 3 to 4 days

Day 1 — Arrive and breathe

Land. Check in at Verde e Mar. Swim at Boca da Barra. Late afternoon in Velha Boipeba square. Dinner at the house or in the village. Early to bed: the body is still on mainland time.

Day 2 — Boat day

Volta à Ilha or focus on Moreré and Castelhanos, aligned to low tide. Oysters on the return, if the route includes the river. Evening: pool and hot tub.

Day 3 — On foot or quad bike

Walk Boca da Barra → Tassimirim → Cueira (and Moreré if legs and tide allow). Or quad bike on request. Free afternoon at the house.

Day 4 — Reserve or contrast

Day at the house (lunch by the house cook) or trip to Morro de São Paulo or a morning snorkel at Tassimirim if the tide helps. Departure without rushing.

Adjust the days to your actual tide — not this text.

What is worth doing

  • Moreré natural pools (low tide)
  • Sunset at Boca da Barra
  • Walk to Tassimirim and Cueira
  • Castelhanos via tour
  • Square and Igreja do Divino Espírito Santo
  • Oysters on the Canavieiras / Portal das Ostras axis
  • Nothing — literally nothing — on the house veranda

What you can skip

  • Trying to “do every beach” in 48 hours
  • Going to Moreré at the wrong tide
  • Comparing Boipeba with an all-inclusive resort

Families and groups

Boca da Barra and Tassimirim are usually the friendliest day-to-day. Verde e Mar sleeps up to 11 guests (12 on request): whole house.
